Job summary

DV Trading is seeking a highly motivated software developer to join the DV Equities desk and help build our cutting-edge, low-latency trading platform. You will work alongside senior traders and engineers to extend core functionality and explore new opportunities.

The role requires a minimum of 2–5 years of professional Python experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. A B.S. in CS, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work alongside senior traders and experienced software developers
• Improve and extend the core trading platform, enhance existing trades, and identify and pursue new opportunities
• Further responsibilities may be driven by the individual’s interests and specific skills

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience with Python
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in algorithmic trading
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
