Point One - Hedge Fund Talent is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager candidate to join a leading multi-strategy hedge fund in Hong Kong. The role focuses on index rebalancing and developing complementary systematic equity strategies, including equity statistical arbitrage, within a collaborative investment team.

Formación

• Experience in systematic equity trading or quantitative research.
• Exposure to index rebalancing strategies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++ or R.
• Ability to translate investment ideas into signals and live strategies.
• Experience with backtesting and performance attribution.

Responsabilidades

• Research, develop and manage systematic trading strategies across index rebalancing.
• Identify alpha arising from index methodology, constituent changes, benchmark events and flows.
• Contribute new signals and trading ideas with rigorous research and execution assumptions.
• Collaborate with Senior PM, researchers and technologists to improve portfolio construction and capacity.
• Monitor performance, exposures and trading costs, adapting strategies to market conditions.
• Apply disciplined risk management throughout research and trading processes.
