Job summary

HKCU Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer or Structural Engineer to join a renowned contractor in Hong Kong. You will provide structural technical support, prepare drawings and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include design reviews, quality control, and preparation of technical documents while ensuring BD standards compliance. A HKIE membership is preferred, and immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in preparation of structural submissions under the BD.
• Familiar with design guidelines, standards, code of practice and BD submission procedures.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, SADS, PLAXIS, ETABS and SAFE.
• HKIE membership is preferred but not required.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Our client is a renowned contractor with a well-established business in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a high-caliber Senior Structural Engineers / Structural Engineers to join the project team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• To provide Structural technical support to project teams;
• To prepare and submit structural drawings;
• To coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of design tasks
• To support project planning, quality control, design reviews, and preparation of technical documents
• To Ensure compliance with relevant standards, statutory requirements, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• To support for preparation of tender technical submissions including tender design drawings and technical submissions.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• at least 3 years experience in preparation of structural submissions under the BO, preferably obtained from a consultancy engineering firm
• Familiar with design guidelines, standards, code of practice, statutory regulation, submission and approval procedures of BD
• Proficiency in design software, such as SAP2000, SADS, PLAXIS, ETABS, and SAFE.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Able to work independently and well organized
• Corporate Membership of HKIE (Structural or Civil) is preferred but not a must.
• Immediately available is an advantage
