Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong seeks a seasoned finance professional to independently lead end-to-end strategic assessments for major business initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams, challenge proposals with data-driven insights, and drive the forecasting validation process for local management and Group reporting.

The role requires 8-10 years of experience, actuarial background preferred, and strong executive communication to influence senior stakeholders while guiding BAU analytics

Qualifications

• University graduate, preferably with actuarial background or qualifications.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in strategic finance or related fields.
• Strong ability to structure complex assessments and present recommendations.
• Proven capability to challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead end-to-end strategic finance assessments for initiatives, including framework, approach, and recommendations.
• Act as finance lead and strategic thought partner to Channels and cross-functional teams; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Lead validation of key new business assumptions for forecasts; identify risks and opportunities with analytical models.
• Own development and continuous improvement of forecasting tools, models, and frameworks.
