About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Staff Mobile Engineer to join our OEX Mobile Growth team — a pure mobile team sitting at the intersection of engineering rigour, consumer growth craft, and product instinct. This is not a feature delivery role. You will own the client‑side architecture for new user acquisition, referral and virality mechanics, and the reward and conversion funnels that drive growth for millions of users.

You bring deep expertise in mobile attribution — from MMP design and evolution through to anti‑fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation — and you know how to turn attribution data into decisions. You are also fluent in AI‑assisted development and bring the discipline to build, maintain, and continuously improve your own AI engineering workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the client‑side architecture for core growth conversion flows — new user acquisition, referral and virality loops, reward mechanics, and activity‑driven engagement systems.
• Design and evolve the mobile attribution system — including MMP integration, attribution modelling, and the application of attribution data across anti‑fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation scenarios.
• Build and optimise growth infrastructure including funnel instrumentation, experiment frameworks, and acquisition loops that directly serve the mobile user base.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Business Development, and local market teams to translate commercial goals into concrete, data‑backed engineering proposals.
• Drive technical decision‑making on growth infrastructure, articulating trade‑offs clearly and defending or revising positions based on evidence.
• Apply AI coding tools actively in your workflow — not just for code generation, but to build and maintain repeatable personal AI development workflows.
• Mentor engineers on the team and help establish a culture where engineers bring solutions, not just responses.

What We Look For In You

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production‑quality systems at scale.
• Deep familiarity with new user growth, referral and virality mechanics, activity and reward systems, and the client‑side architecture behind core business conversion flows.
• Strong expertise in mobile attribution design and evolution — hands‑on experience with attribution platforms and solutions, and proven ability to drive attribution data into anti‑fraud, channel revenue sharing, and ROI evaluation applications.
• Proficient in AI‑assisted development — able to independently build and maintain personal AI engineering workflows, not just use AI tools ad hoc.
• Data instincts: you think in funnels, know how to instrument what matters, and use metrics to drive decisions.
• Outspoken and proposal‑driven — you come to the table with a point of view, push back when you disagree, and bring data and a counter‑proposal rather than just flagging concerns.
• Strong cross‑functional communication — comfortable working with Product, Business Development, and local markets to align on goals and hold the line on engineering quality.

Nice‑To‑Haves

• Mobile development experience in iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) — or backend experience building growth systems that serve mobile apps directly.
• Depth in MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or SKAdNetwork.
• Experience building referral systems, k‑factor mechanics, or anti‑fraud layers.
• A/B experiment framework ownership at meaningful scale.
• ASO operational experience (App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
• Background in fintech, crypto, or regulated consumer financial products.
• Experience operating across APAC, EEA, or US markets.
