Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer in Operations Automation & Cloud Management Platform. You will own the core build-out for unified multi-cloud management, integrating with Aliyun, AWS, Azure, and Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and cost optimization.

You will design core systems such as CMDB, Event Center, and orchestration engines, and advance intelligent cloud management using AI/LLM, including an ops copilot for natural-language operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Java with Spring ecosystem.
• Development or integration experience in multi-cloud resource management with cloud provider APIs/Terraform.
• Strong API design and system integration skills in distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM applications and ability to integrate AI into cloud management scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and code-quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Operations Automation & Cloud Management Platform for full-lifecycle multi-cloud resources.
• Integrate with cloud provider APIs (Aliyun, AWS, Azure) and Terraform for onboarding, provisioning, configuration changes, and cost optimization.
• Own the design of CMDB, Event Center, and orchestration engines and build unified data foundations and workflow engines.
• Build intelligent cloud management capabilities leveraging AI/LLM for orchestration, change-risk assessment, and capacity/cost prediction.
• Explore AI/LLM applications in cloud management, including an intelligent ops assistant for natural-language-driven operations.
• Design and maintain RESTful / gRPC interfaces and SDKs, contributing to platform security and operations.

About The Opportunity

As a Technical Expert, you will own the core build-out of the Operations Automation & Cloud Management Platform, focusing on the unified management and intelligent orchestration of multi-cloud products. By integrating with cloud provider APIs (Aliyun, AWS, Azure), the role builds full-lifecycle management capabilities across compute, storage, network, database, and middleware resources—combined with CMDB, Event Center, orchestration engines, and AI / LLM capabilities—to evolve from manual operations toward intelligent control and automated change, continuously improving operational efficiency and stability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and develop the Operations Automation & Cloud Management Platform, building full-lifecycle management capabilities for multi-cloud resources across compute, storage, network, database, and middleware;

Integrate with cloud provider APIs (Aliyun, AWS, Azure) and Terraform to enable unified onboarding, automated provisioning, configuration changes, and cost optimization of cloud products;

Own the design and development of core systems including CMDB, Event Center, and orchestration engines, building a unified data foundation for resources, configurations, and events, and develop workflow engines, task schedulers, and approval mechanisms;

Build intelligent cloud management capabilities, leveraging AI / LLM for intelligent orchestration, change-risk assessment, and capacity/cost prediction, driving the evolution from manual operations to intelligent control;

Explore the application of AI / LLM in cloud management, building an intelligent ops assistant (ChatOps / AI Copilot) to support natural-language-driven cloud resource operations and smart ticket handling;

Design and maintain unified RESTful / gRPC interfaces and SDKs, and participate in platform security (OIDC, IAM Role, RBAC, audit) and operations.

What We Look For In You

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;

Proficient in Java, familiar with Spring / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud;

Development or integration experience in multi-cloud resource management (Aliyun, AWS, Azure) and cloud provider APIs / Terraform;

Strong API design and system integration skills, with understanding of distributed architecture;

Knowledge of AI / LLM application development (Prompt Engineering, RAG, Agent), able to integrate AI into cloud management and operations scenarios;

Excellent problem-solving skills and strong code-quality awareness.
