Job summary

Kody is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Hong Kong to own production observability, incident response, and cloud infrastructure reliability across global payment platforms. The role spans end-to-end incident handling, SLO/SLI governance, and cost optimization in a multi-account AWS environment.

You will mentor teams and drive resilience-by-design practices. Based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen, you will collaborate with global engineering teams, lead cross-functional incident responses,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on SRE/DevOps experience supporting high-availability production systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS multi-account, EKS, Terraform, and modern observability tooling.
• Experience with DB HA/DR, incident management, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management & On-Call leadership for Sev1/Sev2 events.
• Production Operations across Kubernetes, databases, Kafka, and cloud infra.
• Database HA & DR with Aurora/RDS Multi-AZ and regular restore drills.
• SLO/SLI design, alert governance, and toil reduction.
• Cost optimization across multi-account AWS environments.
