Job summary

UOB Hong Kong seeks a Senior Client Advisor in Private Banking to manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering comprehensive financial advice and tailored wealth solutions. You will collaborate with product specialists, monitor portfolios, and present proposals to clients to deepen relationships.

The role requires 8–10 years in private banking/wealth management, strong investment knowledge, and exceptional communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or similar client-facing roles with high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing a significant client portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandatory professional qualifications (e.g., SFC Type 1, 4, 9 licenses).
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a significant advantage.
• Client-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service.
• ECF on Private Wealth Management accredited by Private Wealth

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, identifying their financial needs and objectives.
• Provide holistic financial solutions encompassing investment products, wealth management, estate planning, and other private banking services.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial goals and risk appetite, offering tailored advice and solutions.
• Monitor client portfolios, providing regular performance reviews and recommending adjustments as needed.
• Identify new business opportunities through client referrals, networking, and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with product specialists, investment advisors, and other internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
• Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and product innovations to provide informed advice.
• Prepare and present financial proposals and recommendations to clients.
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients based on trust and mutual understanding.
