Job summary

Mercer is seeking a Senior Retirement Consulting Analyst to join our Wealth Team in Hong Kong. You will support actuarial services for pension clients across Asia, performing valuations, model development and project work under supervision.

The role emphasizes client interaction, data analysis and timely reporting in a dynamic team. You will engage in research, regulatory updates and business development support while collaborating with Mercer offices across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate field (Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering or Mathematics).
• Actuarial or CFA qualification in progress is preferred.
• Some knowledge of pension systems in Hong Kong and Asia preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with large datasets.
• Able to communicate clearly and solve problems in a consulting setting.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in actuarial valuations and scheme designs for local and global pension plans.
• Support probabilistic cash flow modelling for pension schemes on a project basis.
• Provide high quality calculations, analytics and pension related advice promptly.
• Digest regulatory changes impacting financial wellness and retirement matters.
• Participate in full client project cycles from research to proposals and meetings.
• Research global pension market trends and prepare marketing materials.
