Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an experienced Operations professional in Hong Kong to lead client onboarding and KYC/AML checks for institutional, PI, and retail clients.

You will coordinate with technology teams to improve trading platform operations, oversee daily cash movements, and support the Operations Head in managing staff and client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate processing while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 4–6 years in operations onboarding/KYC in financial institutions; securities industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with KYC/AML regulations and SFC regulatory expectations.
• Strong coordination across departments and with technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for institutional, PI, and retail clients with KYC/AML checks.
• Oversee daily deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and treasury matters.
• Assist Operations Head with complex inquiries and client complaints, providing operational solutions.
• Collaborate with tech teams to design and enhance trading/back-office systems; support automation.
• Guide and train junior staff, review deliverables and maintain quality.
• Ensure compliance with SFC and regulatory requirements and monitor risk.
