Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage complex enterprise networks and drive upgrades with minimal disruption. You will apply TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing knowledge to support critical banking infrastructure, including ACI and VXLAN technologies.

The role emphasizes ongoing maintenance, network optimization, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions for a global client base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9K/7K and VXLAN Protocols.
• Experience in Cisco network design and configuration.
• CCNP or above certifications would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute end‑of‑life upgrades and refresh projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Participate in evergreen (continuous improvement) initiatives to maintain a robust and efficient network environment.
• Involved with ACI Network Implementation
• Perform maintenance of the network infrastructure to ensure satisfaction
• Identify problems and troubleshoot in a complex network environment
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new initiatives and provide expertise in network engineering
• Perform device upgrade/patching, rebooting, and verification upon completion of activities
