Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced network engineer for deploying and securing enterprise networks. You will implement firewalls, switches, and routing policies while migrating to a new data center with minimal downtime.

The role requires 5+ years in deployment, troubleshooting, and support, with SDN, multicast, DDI, and Wi-Fi expertise. Certifications like CCIE/CCNP/HCIE are preferred and on‑site, 24/7 readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in network deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 routing and switching, SDN, multicast, Wi‑Fi, DDI, and network security.
• Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, HCIE, or vendor-specific security credentials.
• Familiar with network management systems, scripting, and risk/audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute network deployments, including installation and configuration of firewalls and switches per plans.
• Migrate current environment to new data center with minimal service disruption.
• Perform Layer 2/3 configurations, routing protocols, VLANs, firewall policies.
• Apply firmware updates and security patches in line with standards.
• Conduct system integration and acceptance testing to validate performance and security.
• Maintain operational records: implementation reports, change logs, test results, weekly updates.
• Provide on-site support during rollouts, stabilization, and on-call as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors following IT governance and security protocols.
