Job summary

Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) invites experienced MEP Project Engineers to join our Hong Kong team. You will oversee projects from design through commissioning, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, has at least 8 years of MEP project experience, and is fluent in English and Chinese. We offer a competitive salary and fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering.
• Holder of Green Card.
• Minimum 8 years MEP project experience.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
• Good command in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP projects throughout the project lifecycle, including design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Monitor project progress against programme and milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review project schedules, method statements and construction plans.
• Assist Project Manager in resource planning, cost control and contract administration.
• Oversee daily site activities and monitor workmanship quality.
• Coordinate site labour, subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Resolve technical and construction issues arising on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings and material submissions.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate design interfaces among various MEP disciplines.
• Prepare RFIs, technical reports and engineering proposals.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
