Job summary

ZA Bank Limited is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager for Business Banking Credit Approval to assess and approve SME credit applications. You will ensure compliance with risk appetite, policies, and local regulations while structuring terms and monitoring credit portfolios.

The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, independent work, and risk-conscious decision-making. You will contribute to end-to-end credit processes, participate in ECL reporting, and support system enhancements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or approval.
• Authority to approve HKD 10M+ credits at other banks.
• Strong knowledge of the local SME market and commercial sector.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit risk assessment on new and renewal SME credit applications.
• Ensure compliance with bank risk appetite, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Discuss and structure credit terms and conditions for applications.
• Approve credits within delegated authority.
• Perform post-approval monitoring, client visits, and inspections if needed.
• Identify early warning signals and take risk-mitigation actions.
• Support design and implementation of end-to-end credit processes and reporting.
• Assist in credit portfolio management and ECL reporting.
