The role emphasizes ML on edge devices, scalable architectures, and rigorous QA pipelines to ensure reliable deployments in fast‑paced startup environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Substantial industry experience in software engineering with embedded systems, IoT devices, or sensor-based technologies.
• Proven expertise in developing software for wireless protocols (e.g., UWB, Bluetooth) and location-tracking apps.
• Solid understanding of AI concepts, with experience deploying ML models, edge AI, or data-driven intelligent systems.
• Strong coding proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience Linux-based development environments, containerization (Docker), and embedded software deployments.
• Good language skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua with strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• AI & Intelligent Systems Integration: Develop, deploy ML models on embedded/edge platforms for real-time decisions.

• Software Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of software architectures for AI-driven IoT applications, with a strong emphasis on integrating spatial awareness and precise indoor positioning systems using UWB.
• AI & Intelligent Systems Integration: Develop and deploy machine learning models and advanced AI frameworks into embedded and edge computing platforms to enhance device intelligence and real-time decision-making capabilities.
• Full-Stack IoT Development: Manage the complete software development lifecycle for complex AIoT systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between edge devices, local processing units, and backend services.
• Quality & Workflow Automation: Champion software quality by establishing rigorous testing protocols, performance profiling, and modern, automated development pipelines to accelerate deployment and reliability.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and product teams, and translate complex business requirements into innovative software solutions.

Requirements

• Strong coding proficiency in modern programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
• Experience operating within Linux-based development environments, utilizing containerization (e.g., Docker), and managing embedded software deployments.
• Good language skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua, with strong documentation abilities. A proactive, problem-solving mindset suited for a fast-paced, collaborative start‑up environment.
