Job summary

Bond West Consultants is assisting a large financial institution in Hong Kong to find a seasoned Java developer. You will design, lead development and implement application systems and digital solutions, participating in the full SDLC from design to deployment.

Requirements include a degree in IT or CS and at least 5 years of web application design and development, with hands-on Java/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Kubernetes with Helm, Oracle 19c and PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in web application design and development.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience in JAVA / Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA, Kubernetes with Helm, Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL.
• Proven knowledge of RMDB Database such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Knowledge and experience in online payment, fintech application or e-commerce system is a plus.
• Good communication skills and good command of both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead development and implement application systems and digital solutions.
• Participate in full SDLC for application design, development, testing and system implementation.
• Prepare technical and support documentation.
