Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a top-tier investment bank in Hong Kong to hire a Senior Java Developer for the Trading Risk Team. You will build a real-time platform to calculate risk positions and financial data used by traders and risk managers.

Own the full delivery lifecycle from concept through to production, collaborate with business and trading teams to learn the risk logic, and apply Core Java, multi-threading, design patterns and OO design.

Qualifications

• Strong Core Java with multi-threading, patterns and OO design.
• Experience with equities or equity derivatives is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of work experience.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• University degree from a reputable university.

Responsibilities

• Build a real-time platform to calculate risk positions and financial data.
• Manage the entire application delivery lifecycle across concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production, and support.
• Expose to the business and trading team to understand and learn the business logic, including risk management and financial calculations.
