Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years software engineering; 8-10 years full-stack preferred.
• Hands-on Java and cloud-based development experience.
• Proficient in Angular, React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Azure, AKS, and databases; exposure to Alibaba Cloud is a plus.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, version control, and secure coding practices.
• Experience leading vendors and external teams.
• Insurance domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of end-to-end application solutions across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture design discussions and drive implementation of new features and enhancements.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through code reviews, governance, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Implement and maintain security best practices including authentication, authorization, data protection, and threat mitigation.
• Build scalable, well-documented applications following industry standards.
• Manage external vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Contribute to Agile/SCRUM planning, estimation, and delivery of user stories and milestones.
• Provide production support and incident resolution outside business hours when required.
