Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership Asia is seeking a Senior / Lead Software Engineer to join their regional technology team in Hong Kong. You will design, build, and maintain Java applications using the Spring ecosystem, lead microservices evolution, and drive high-availability architectures for trading and wealth management platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience with Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and high-concurrency architectures.
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs and microservices patterns.
• Fintech/wealth management domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-availability Java applications using Spring.
• Lead evolution of microservices architecture and core business capabilities.
• Architect and govern RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and system integrations.
• Develop backend services for virtual asset trading & AI-enabled automation.
• Ensure security, identity, and enterprise-grade reliability; mentor peers.
