AGENSI PEKERJAAN STAR GLOBAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and optimize resilient, low-latency backends for central trading platform infrastructure and crypto-related channels.

You will own end-to-end designs and drive architectural decisions in a high-stakes financial tech environment. The role requires 3+ years of backend experience with Go, plus familiarity with Java, Rust, or C++.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years backend mastery with strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Experience in Java, Rust, or C++ with willingness to transition to Go.
• Hands-on experience with high concurrency, distributed locks, state machines, and data consistency in production.
• Ability to articulate architecture choices, trade-offs, and post-mortem lessons from previous systems.
• Solid CS foundations and learning agility.
• Direct exposure to high-reliability financial systems: trading engines, payment gateways, or wallets.
• Background in central crypto exchanges, prime brokerages, or market-making firms.
• Familiarity with custody solutions, MPC, HD wallets, or smart contract interactions.
• Public code repos, OSS contributions, or technical blogs showcasing depth.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English to communicate with stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Design, optimize, and maintain high-throughput engine components including order routing, fund movement pipelines, risk control rulesets, clearing, and settlement.
• Engineer reliable infrastructure for asset scanning, withdrawal and payout processing, wallet integrations, and automated reconciliation.
• Build critical-path failure recovery mechanisms ensuring transactional consistency, fast state recovery, and fault isolation.
• Own end-to-end technical solution designs, drive technical decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and establish system benchmarks.
