Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an energetic FX professional to join its Hong Kong Private Banking team. You will deliver market insights, tailored FX strategies, and high-quality execution to Private Wealth clients, collaborating with relationship managers, traders, and economists.

The role requires 6–8 years of FX experience, strong wealth-management knowledge, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Qualifications

University degree; CFA/FRM/CPA advantageous.
Six to eight years of experience in financial markets, sales, advisory, or dealing; hands-on FX dealing preferred.
Strong understanding of wealth management within Private/ Retail Banking.
Knowledge of FX markets, investments, client advisory, and execution practices.
Strong commercial awareness and client-facing relationship skills.
Fluent in English Cantonese Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term and tactical plans to capture FX business opportunities in Hong Kong.
Grow FX client base by advising and executing for Private Banking clients and RM teams.
Provide timely FX market updates and tailored investment or trading strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
Drive revenue targets through proactive client engagement, product advisory, and execution support.
Build trusted partnerships with Front Office, RM, DAC, and other business partners.
Lead FX product ideation, structuring, and service improvements to strengthen client proposition.
