Job summary

Argyll Scott is seeking a highly capable Full Stack Engineer in Hong Kong to design, develop, test, and maintain business software, including modern frontend and backend systems. You will work on client-focused projects, ensure quality, and contribute across the full development lifecycle.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a solid CS foundation, and hands-on expertise with React/Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and database technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in software development.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Experience building large systems software and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in programming, problem diagnosis and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software projects.
• Gather requirements, document specs, and develop software solutions.
• Analyze enhancement requests and specifications.
• Implement and customize system software to client needs.
• Prepare detailed software specs and test plans.
• Code new programs to client specs and create test data.
• Modify existing programs and conduct unit testing.
• Create migration packages for testing and implementation.
• Provide quality assurance reviews.
• Perform post-implementation validation and fix bugs.
