Job summary

Gate is seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to design and evolve our frontend technical architecture across a modern Next.js stack. You will set engineering standards, drive AI-assisted development, and collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality features.

The role requires 5+ years in frontend development with architecture experience, strong command of performance optimization (Core Web Vitals), and leadership capabilities to mentor engineers and raise delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience with architecture exposure.
• Strong expertise in Next.js including SSR/SSG/ISR.
• Solid knowledge of build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
• Experience with server-side technologies and full-stack capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience leading a frontend team and driving delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and evolve the frontend architecture, adopting new technologies.
• Establish frontend standards, best practices, and workflows.
• Drive AI-assisted development and create AI-driven engineering standards.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals and key metrics for a crypto exchange context.
