As Nex’s Senior Electronic Engineer, you will work at the heart of Playground hardware and smart accessories, helping turn ambitious product ideas into reliable products at scale. You will develop and validate PCBAs, turn product intent into precise specifications, lead JDM execution, support products through production, and solve manufacturing and field problems at their root.
You will work hands-on from development and EVT through industrialization, production, and sustaining. Our partners bring development capacity and manufacturing expertise; you will ensure Nex sets the technical direction, makes the critical decisions, and holds every product to a high engineering standard.
The knowledge you gain from today’s products will also shape what comes next. By strengthening our tools, lab practices, standards, and technical judgment, you will help Nex build better consoles, push the boundaries of active play, and bring exceptional experiences to families everywhere.
You are curious, hands-on, and evidence-led. You turn ambiguity into clear requirements, promising ideas into working hardware, and complex failures into verified root causes. You pair bold product ambition with engineering discipline, challenge weak assumptions, and act on first principles and measured results.
