Job summary

Tokalent is seeking a Senior eTrading Quantitative Developer to collaborate with traders and drive growth in the trading desk. You will design, develop, and optimize trading systems, implement advanced strategies, and support market-making activities across DeFi initiatives.

The role requires 4–8 years in software engineering, experience in low-latency crypto trading or HFT, and familiarity with AWS and Solidity. English fluency is essential; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics)
• 4–8 years of software engineering experience across the full SDLC
• Experience in low-latency crypto trading, HFT, market-making, algorithmic trading, or OMS
• Familiarity with AWS, databases, and data analysis/visualization libraries
• Knowledge of Solidity and smart contracts is highly desirable
• Fluent English; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with traders to drive growth and performance of the trading desk
• Designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing trading systems and infrastructure
• Implementing, back-testing, and executing advanced trading strategies
• Supporting market-making activities for affiliated projects
• Developing trade analysis, reporting, market data contribution, risk management, and PnL frameworks
• Participating in blockchain and DeFi initiatives within the group
