Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent are highly preferred.
• ECF-CRM certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in credit approval or credit risk management within corporate/commercial banking.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve credit proposals within delegated authority and risk appetite.
• Evaluate financial statements, industry developments, and transaction structures to identify key credit risks and provide recommendations.
• Conduct credit due diligence through client visits, joint meetings with relationship managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage the credit portfolio of assigned business units, ensuring asset quality and risk control.
• Perform ongoing surveillance of approved credit facilities and assess borrowers' creditworthiness.
• Conduct periodic and annual credit reviews in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior Credit Officers, RMs, and ARMs.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of credit policies and risk management frameworks.
