Job summary

ELLE Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Content Executive to create engaging beauty content across print, digital and social media, ensuring alignment with our brand voice.

You will lead visuals collaboration, track trends, contribute affiliate content, and work with sales and marketing to produce promotional pieces. Applicants should have journalism/translation/language training, strong beauty and social media knowledge, video content experience, and fluency in Cantonese, Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Journalism, Translation, Language or related disciplines.
• Knowledge in beauty, social media and trend awareness.
• Experience in video content creation; video hosting is a plus.
• Agile and dynamic; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken Cantonese, Chinese and English.

Purpose of the position:

As a Senior Content Executive at ELLE, you will be responsible for content creation that resonates with our audience across print, digital and social media platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and manage engaging content for the Beauty section of ELLE and its spin-off, ensuring every piece is engaging and aligned with our brand voice
• Grasp the pulse of hot topics and create engaging written and visual content across various social media platforms in order to draw engagement and followers
• Partner with internal teams and/or external parties on visuals, including photo shoots and video shoots
• Stay current on trends and contribute to affiliate content such as product recommendations, shopping guides, and trend posts
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to produce promotional content

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Degree holder with major in Journalism, Translation, Language or related disciplines
• Knowledge in beauty/ social media and understanding of the trend
• Experience in video content creation, willing to be a video host is a plus
• Agile and dynamic, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken skills in Cantonese, Chinese, and English

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office.
