Job summary

HKR International is seeking a Manager - Projects (Building Services) to oversee the full life cycle of building projects in Sheung Wan, including planning, procurement, consultant and contractor management, cost and schedule control, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in Building Services or related fields, professional membership, at least 5 years post-qualification experience with 2 in supervision, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Building Services or related disciplines.
• Membership of engineering or construction professional institutions.
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience, with 2 years in supervision.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing & drainage building services construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with English and Chinese communication.
• Independent, proactive and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full project life-cycles, ensuring compliance with contractual, safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor all building services activities for new and existing projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting specifications and regulations.
• Liaise with relevant departments to formulate project briefs and user requirements.
• Lead procurement of consultancy services and works contracts with cost control.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors for design and construction matters.
• Monitor consultants' and contractors' performance and ensure quality.
• Oversee site progress and handover completed projects to operators with testing and rectification.
• Take on additional duties and strategic initiatives as required.
