Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, HKFRS/IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience planning and leading audit engagements including risk assessment and substantive testing.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and review junior auditors with time management skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
• Clear communication with clients in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Auditor role based in Hong Kong. The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and substantive testing of financial statements. The role involves supervising junior team members, reviewing their work, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to professional standards and firm methodologies. The Senior Auditor will communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, prepare clear documentation and reports, and assist in resolving accounting and control issues. The position also includes coordinating with clients’ finance teams, managing timelines and priorities across multiple engagements, and supporting continuous improvement of audit processes within the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles (HKFRS/IFRS), and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience planning and leading audit engagements, including risk assessment, internal control review, and substantive procedures.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and review the work of junior auditors, with solid time management and project coordination skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients and preparing audit reports in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in an audit firm or professional services environment, ideally in a senior or semi-senior role.
• High level of professional ethics, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
