Job summary

Mox Bank in Hong Kong SAR is seeking an Audit Manager to lead internal audits across retail banking and wealth management domains in a digital bank environment. The role requires delivering high-quality assurance and guiding audit teams within the Group Internal Audit framework.

The successful candidate will manage risk assessments, execute audit engagements and support cross-functional audits, while ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and key risk indicators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of audit experience in financial services (internal or external).
• Strong knowledge of HK regulatory requirements for retail banking and wealth management.
• Collaborative and builds positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; objective thinking.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Professional audit certification (CPA, CIA, or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, perform or support planning, fieldwork and reporting of internal audit engagements.
• Assist Head of Audit to develop robust risk assessments and audit plan.
• Track and escalate significant issues and unresolved audit findings.
• Provide advisory support on non-audit engagements when required.
• Liaise with business units to align audit approach with strategy and risk.
• Build effective working relationships with first and second line stakeholders.
• Provide performance feedback to junior team members when leading teams.
• Share knowledge to develop team capabilities and audit expertise.
• Participate in cross-functional/country audits as regulatory specialist.
