Job summary
WeLab is hiring a senior Business Analyst in Hong Kong to bridge business needs with technical delivery. You will translate requirements, prepare specs and orchestrate collaboration between business users, developers and external vendors.
A strong emphasis on agile delivery, communication, and problem solving will define success. You should have a degree in IT or CS and at least five years in business analysis, including retail banking experience, along with proficiency in at least one modern
Qualifications
- Degree holder in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or related banking domain.
- Knowledge of one modern programming language (Node, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Knowledge of HTML5, REST API, SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience in agile software development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and study business objectives and requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare specifications, change requests and documentation.
- Act as the interface between business users and technical teams and external vendors.
- Partner with development teams to plan releases and support UAT.
