Job summary

SHINEWING (HK) CPA Limited is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Financial Institution Team to join a high-performing group delivering audit, assurance and regulatory compliance services to financial services clients in Hong Kong.

You will assist Managers in leading audit fieldwork, gain exposure to banks, asset managers, funds, and brokers, and build strong client relationships while collaborating with engagement teams to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advantage
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit or assurance
• Experience in Banking, Asset Management or Insurance audit is highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
• Good knowledge of HK regulatory requirements (SFC/HKMA) is a plus
• CPA or equivalent qualification completed or in progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in writing and speaking English and Chinese (Putonghua/Cantonese)
• Proficient in computer applications
• Detail-oriented with a drive to develop a career in Financial Services
• Willing to travel
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Experienced Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a high-performing team to deliver audit, assurance and regulatory engagements for financial services clients
• Assist Managers/Senior Managers in leading a team during audit fieldwork and assurance assignments
• Gain exposure to securities brokerage, asset management, funds and banking sectors
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with engagement teams to deliver exceptional service
