Job summary

TAIT in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Accountant to manage bookkeeping for China, Hong Kong and Vietnam, ensuring accurate records and timely month-end close.

You will liaise with APAC and Global Finance, external advisers, banks and auditors, perform intercompany reconciliations, statutory filings, and improve accounting processes. Experience with Epicor, SAP or Oracle and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience maintaining books for multiple entities in APAC or international environments; China/Hong Kong/Vietnam exposure is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany accounting, FX, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel; familiarity with statutory/regulatory reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese/Mandarin skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for China, Hong Kong and Vietnam entities.
• Process accounts payable/receivable, postings and reconciliations in line with procedures.
• Prepare recurring and adjusting journals; support month-end and year-end close.
• Assist statutory accounts, tax filings and audits; coordinate with external advisers.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and cash management across jurisdictions.
• Support consolidation and group reporting with timely data submission.
