Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is hiring a Cleaner for Kowloon Junior School to support the site team. The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, minor repairs, and assisting with venue setup and gardening. You will work Monday to Friday with morning hours, and carry out other duties as assigned.

Permanent Hong Kong resident or valid working visa is required. ESF emphasizes equal opportunity and rigorous safeguarding checks during recruitment.

Qualifications

Fluent in Cantonese; basic English preferred.
Good hygiene standards for cleaning and disinfecting work.
A team player who is positive, hardworking, responsible and trustworthy.
Good time management and flexibility to handle daily tasks.
Ability to follow instructions and be self-motivated.
Candidates without woodworking/repair experience may still be hired as Cleaner.

Responsibilities

Keep designated areas clean and tidy at all times.
Carry out day-to-day cleaning, disinfecting, minor maintenance and repair work.
Assist in setting up venues for school events, including moving furniture and equipment.
Assist in woodworking projects.
Assist in gardening tasks including watering plants and clearing debris.
Handle other duties assigned by supervisor.
