Job summary

CGS International Holdings Limited is seeking a risk and compliance professional in Hong Kong. The role focuses on establishing and refining the risk monitoring framework in line with SFC requirements for authorized funds and private mandates, and implementing HQ risk management standards.

• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Risk Management.
• Minimum 2 years’ risk management experience with SFC type 4 and 9 licenses.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Job description

Responsible for establishing and improving the company's risk monitoring system, optimizing risk management-related systems based on the regulatory requirements of SFC for authorized/ public funds and private mandates.

Implement the risk management requirements of the headquarters.

Collaborate with legal, operational, and investment teams to ensure projects and transactions comply with regulatory guidelines.

Manage compliance reporting requirements, including preparing and submitting necessary filings to regulatory authorities.

Investigate compliance breaches, conduct thorough analyses, and propose disciplinary actions or preventive measures.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in compliance and risk management.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance employees' understanding of compliance obligations and risk management principles.

Requirement:

Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Risk Management (or above).

Minimum 2 years’ experience in risk management related with SFC type 4 and 9 licenses.

Familiar with various risk assessment tools and risk control strategies for SFC authorized funds.

Familiar with asset management companies in Hong Kong.

Professional certification (FRM, CIA, CISA, CPA) is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, good presentation skills.

Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
