Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading asset manager in Hong Kong to recruit a Senior Officer / Officer, Risk Management. The role offers exposure across public and private markets and a chance to shape risk frameworks within a dynamic team.

You will monitor risk limits, perform pre- and post-trade checks, and prepare risk reports while collaborating with portfolio managers, compliance, and operations to ensure robust controls and timely insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 2-6 years of experience in investment risk, investment compliance, or financial risk analysis.
• Understanding of fixed income, equities, derivatives, and portfolio risk attribution.
• Exposure to asset management, fund management, securities, or financial institutions is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg AIM and Python would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily investment risk limits and ensure portfolios remain compliant with regulatory, fund mandate, and internal policy requirements.
• Conduct pre-trade checks, trade approvals, Bloomberg rule coding, and post-trade reviews.
• Support risk assessments for investment portfolios and new business initiatives.
• Prepare risk reports and contribute to the enhancement of the firm's risk management framework.
• Participate in portfolio risk investigations and ad-hoc risk management projects.
• Work closely with portfolio managers, compliance, operations, and senior stakeholders across the business.
