Job summary

Fosun Wealth Holdings seeks a Compliance Lead in Hong Kong to act as the Responsible Officer with the Insurance Authority, overseeing regulated activities and IA inquiries.

You will establish internal controls, supervise TRs and staff, and drive a compliance-focused culture, with required 5+ years of insurance experience and HK residency.

Job description

1. Compliance Supervision & Regulatory Liaison

Act as the company's statutory Responsible Officer registered with the Insurance Authority (IA), overseeing the compliant operation of all regulated activities. Serve as the primary liaison between the IA and the company, promptly responding to regulatory inquiries and submitting required documents and reports.

2. Internal Control & Risk Management

Establish, implement, and continuously maintain the company's internal control system. Regularly review the effectiveness of internal controls, identify control gaps, and drive remediation efforts.

3. Business Conduct Oversight

Supervise all regulated activities of Technical Representatives (TRs) and subordinate business staff, ensuring they hold valid licenses and operate within authorized scopes. Approve key client agreements, brokerage agreements, and partnership arrangements.

4. People Management

Participate in the approval of TR and business staff recruitment. Oversee the execution of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs. Assist the Department Head in managing operations and TR personnel to ensure smooth business operations.

II. Qualification Requirements

1. Licensing

Hold a valid Responsible Officer (RO) approval from the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (IA).

2. Experience

Minimum 5 years of insurance-related experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of Hong Kong's insurance intermediary regulatory regime and brokerage operations.

3. Residency & Fitness

Must be a Hong Kong resident and meet the "fit and proper" criteria, with no record of bankruptcy, criminal conviction, or regulatory disciplinary action.

4. Competencies

Excellent compliance awareness, risk management capability, and communication skills. Strong team spirit and the ability to drive a compliance-focused culture within the organization.
