Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (ICBC (Asia)) is seeking a Banking Operations professional to assist Relationship Managers in daily operations and act as a client liaison for wealth management services.

The role involves handling transactions, documentation, and client inquiries, while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced Hong Kong environment.

Qualifications

• University graduate.
• 1–3 years of banking experience or relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of products and services to high-net-worth clients with private banking/wealth management experience is advantageous.
• IIQE and HKSI qualifications are required; CPWP is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken) including Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in daily operations.
• Act as a focal point for contact for clients and as a secondary account manager for Relationship Managers.
• Support Relationship Managers in executing and documenting transactions.
• Open accounts, prepare documentation and general instructions.
• Process credit approvals, investment and deposit transactions.
• Execute client instructions.
• Ensure all transactions comply with bank policies and legal requirements.
• Serve as a daily contact for clients’ general enquiries.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications in IIQE and HKSI is a must and CPWP is an advantage
• Good PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint )
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua)
