Job summary

LMG Insurance is seeking an Assistant Manager for Internal Audit to lead planning and execution of audits across Singapore and Hong Kong. You will oversee risk assessments, control evaluations, and risk-based audit programs, influencing management with clear, evidence-based findings.

The role requires a solid foundation in internal audit, accounting or finance, plus knowledge of IIA standards, insurance practices, and ITGCs. Strong data tool skills and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Significant experience in Internal Audit, Accounting, or Finance roles, typically 5+ years.
• Solid knowledge of IIA Standards and Code of Ethics with practical application in audit delivery.
• Working knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulatory expectations.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; familiarity with audit/data analytics tools such as Power BI and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of audit projects across Singapore and Hong Kong markets.
• Define audit scope, objectives, and timelines; oversee risk assessments, control evaluations, and development of risk-based audit programs.
• Engage stakeholders across business lines to align audit priorities in a complex environment.
• Apply audit methodology and IT general controls to guide audit decisions.
• Communicate audit issues and recommendations clearly and influence remediation plans.
• Serve as a trusted advisor across operations and technology; promote remediation through practical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement of audit approaches, tools, and practices.
