Job summary

Nex is seeking a Software Engineer Intern (Engineering, Core Technology) to join the Core Technology team in Hong Kong. You will build real-time software for motion tracking and ML inference, and develop internal tools for datasets and model deployment.

You will work with engineers, ML researchers, and game teams across the technology stack and gain hands-on mentorship. You will contribute to cameras, sensors, and hardware integrations, while learning from experienced engineers in a

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Solid foundation in software development and computer science fundamentals.
• Programming experience in any language.

Responsibilities

• Build real-time software for motion tracking, cameras, audio, and ML inference.
• Develop tools to prepare datasets and train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy ML models.
• Improve reliability and developer experience through visualization, debugging, performance analysis, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to bring experimental technologies into games.
