Job summary

Societe Generale in Hong Kong seeks a hands-on, autonomous software professional to build pricing and distribution systems for fixed income. You will support traders and sales, push fixes to production, and translate desk requirements into robust software solutions.

Collaborate with quants and tech teams to deliver integrated pricing capabilities across the platform, working with a global team in HK, Paris, London and New York.

Qualifications

• Strong ownership and problem-solving under time pressure.
• Operate autonomously, owning issues end to end from idea to production.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language, ideally C# and .NET; solid SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance pricing and distribution systems for the fixed income business.
• Provide hands-on front-office support for traders and sales, resolving issues quickly and driving permanent fixes.
• Gather requirements directly from the desk, propose pragmatic solutions, and deliver changes through to production.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and technology teams to deliver integrated pricing capabilities across the platform.
• Contribute to a global team across Hong Kong, Paris, London, and New York.
