Job summary

JPMorgan Chase invites talented MSc students to join the Quantitative Trading & Research (QTR) team in Hong Kong for a 3–6 month internship. You will build mathematical models, work on risk modeling, and gain hands‑on project experience under mentorship and a speaker series.

Qualifications

Expected graduation beyond December 2027.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, C#)
Demonstrates strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills as well as research ability
Good communication of concepts, verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

Exposure across Derivatives Pricing, Risk Management & Electronic Execution and Systematic, Data‑Driven Trading Analytics teams.
Collaborate with traders, marketers, and risk managers to promote sales, client interaction, and risk management.
Develop and implement mathematical models for pricing, hedging, and risk measurement of derivatives.
Support OTC and electronic trading activities by explaining model behavior and researching ideas.
Assess model limitations, monitor risk, and implement valuation/trading models in production.
