Marshall Wace invites applications for a Quant Implementation Intern to join the global team from our Hong Kong office. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a systematic investment idea—from research and data analysis through portfolio construction, implementation and performance monitoring.

You will work alongside quantitative researchers, traders and developers to translate ideas into robust production systems, applying quantitative thinking to real investment problems with

Formación

• Pursuing master's or PhD in a quantitative field (CS, math, stats, physics, engineering).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with finance interest.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, C++, Java.
• Solid foundation in probability, statistics, linear algebra, numerical methods.
• Curiosity about systematic investing and understanding why a strategy works.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Care, ownership and sound judgment with data and code.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse market and portfolio data to understand signal behaviour and performance.
• Validate new models and portfolio construction changes before live trading.
• Investigate differences between research expectations and real-world results.
• Contribute clean, reliable code to live-system infrastructure.
