Job summary

Anglo-Eastern is seeking a QHSE Coordinator in Hong Kong to support the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the QHSE Management System across fleet and shore operations. You will coordinate audits, inspections, and corrective actions, analyze KPI data, and prepare management reports to drive informed decisions.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and independence in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma in QHSE, Engineering, Maritime Studies or related field.
  • QHSE experience from any industry welcome; maritime/shipping exposure is an advantage.
  • Sailing exposure from cadet / 4th Officer level onwards is a plus.
  • Good MS Office skills; comfortable using AI tools such as Copilot.
  • Strong follow-up, organisation and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Company's QHSE Management System across the fleet and shore organization.
  • Coordinate and monitor QHSE activities, ensuring timely follow-up, closure, and reporting of audits, inspections, observations, corrective actions, and compliance-related matters.
  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain QHSE performance data, statistics, and KPIs, including trend analysis and management reports to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to QHSE Managers and stakeholders by responding to queries, maintaining records, preparing presentations, and facilitating effective communication between vessels, operations, technical teams, clients, and management.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of external audits, inspections, and assessments, ensuring statutory, regulatory, client, and company requirements are met within prescribed timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and successful execution of office audits, external assessments, client inspections, and certification audits by maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Maintain accurate QHSE documentation, records, databases, and reporting systems to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and effective management of quality assurance and safety-related processes.
  • Monitor and support the Company's Plan-Do-Check-Act framework, including tracking of objectives, targets, corrective actions, and KPI performance to drive continual improvement and operational excellence.
  • Assist in the management and analysis of incident, injury, non-conformity, and near-miss reporting processes, including data tracking, follow-up actions, lessons learned, and periodic reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze QHSE statistics, KPIs, audit findings, incident trends, and compliance performance data for QHSE meetings, Management Reviews, Board Meetings, and other corporate reporting requirements.
