Job summary

Binance is seeking a Product Manager for its TradFi clearing and settlement platform in Hong Kong. You will lead product development, focusing on backend capabilities, reconciliation, and settlement processes within a fast-paced global fintech environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, treasury, and finance to design robust systems, track performance metrics, and drive end-to-end execution while coordinating with external partners in a multi-region setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in clearing & settlement, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products.
• Background in Accountancy and/or Finance is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, or fund flow design.
• Familiarity with backend system design and APIs; comfortable working closely with engineering teams on system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver the TradFi clearing and settlement platform.
• Lead the product roadmap and execution focusing on backend capabilities.
• Oversee lifecycle management including trade reconciliation and settlement.
• Define and monitor metrics (false positives, processing time, reliability) and optimize via data and experimentation.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, treasury, and finance to design robust settlement systems.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to integrate systems and investigate issues.
• Act as hands-on contributor to identify gaps and drive end-to-end execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for product design and delivery of the company's TradFi clearing and settlement platform
2. Lead the product development roadmap and execution for the TradFi clearing and settlement platform, focusing on backend capabilities
3. Lead the design of full lifecycle management: trade reconciliation, non-trade reconciliation, anomaly detection, error handling, and settlement
4. Define and monitor key system and business metrics (e.g., false positive rate, processing time, reliability), and advance continuous optimization through data and experimentation
5. Partner with engineering, product managers, spot operations, futures operations, treasury, and finance teams to design robust systems for settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management
6. Collaborate with external stakeholders to integrate systems and investigate issues
7. Act as a hands-on contributor, taking initiative to identify system/process gaps and driving end-to-end execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements

1. 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in clearing & settlement, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products
2. Background in Accountancy and/or Finance is an advantage
3. Deep understanding of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, or fund flow design
4. Familiarity with backend system design and APIs; comfortable working closely with engineering teams on system architecture
5. Data-driven and analytical mindset, with experience using metrics to guide product decisions
6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global or multi-region environment
7. Demonstrated ownership and structured thinking, with ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment
8. Excellent communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders
9. Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to coordinate with external partners and stakeholders
