Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Private Cloud Engineer to join a major cloud transformation programme in Hong Kong. You will contribute to the design, deployment and optimization of private cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking and virtualization.

The role involves supporting migration efforts, evaluating cloud technologies and collaborating with engineers, architects and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience across cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Hands-on with private cloud, virtualization or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Exposure to public clouds AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud or Tencent Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps/automation tools Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or similar.
• Cloud migration or infrastructure transformation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assessment, design and development of next-generation private cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate different cloud technologies and vendor solutions.
• Work across compute, storage, networking, virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Support infrastructure automation and DevOps adoption.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams, architects and external technology vendors.
• Contribute to technical studies, proof-of-concepts and solution evaluation.
