Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Hong Kong seeks an experienced investment professional to manage private banking portfolios and advise clients on multi-asset strategies.

You will partner with bankers to address investment needs for private individuals and families across equities, fixed income, FX and alternatives, leveraging an institutional platform. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, Mandarin fluency, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of the financial markets, investment products and instruments.
• Strong analytical and communicationskills.
• Understanding of needs and sensitivities of private individuals and families.
• Able to work under minimal supervision; adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and results-focused.
• Fluency in Mandarin; English business communication required.
• Knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines.
• Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to service clients’ investment needs.
• Work closely with Senior Investors on meeting complex clients’ investment needs.
• Provide preparatory and post execution support to the Investor team and offer investment advisory across asset classes.
• Partner with Senior Investors and Private Bankers to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop understanding of the Private Banking platform and manage process flows.
• Prepare presentation materials, client proposals/reports, and briefings for Senior Management.
• Perform portfolio evaluations and analyses.
• Conduct industry and product research.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk management, operational and policy requirements.
• May require regular travel into coverage regions.
