Job summary

Busy Bees @ Work Pte. Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to implement the classroom programme in line with the centre's policies.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education and ECDA L1/L2 certification, along with excellent communication and teamwork. You will collaborate with staff and engage parents to support children's development, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education required.
• ECDA L1 or L2 certification mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre's policies.
• Complete progress reports and prepare developmental portfolios for each child.
• Create a stimulating, engaging environment promoting self-directed learning.
• Manage classroom operations and maintain safety and hygiene.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to carry out duties.
• Build and maintain close partnerships with parents.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre’s policies and framework
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Certified by ECDA at L1 or L2 category
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
