Job summary

Catala Sport on Hong Kong Island is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Tennis Coach to join our coaching team. You will develop players’ technical skills, tactics and love for tennis while offering flexible weekday, evening, and weekend sessions.

As part of our team you’ll design structured training programmes, assess progress, provide feedback and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Coaching qualifications and first aid certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised tennis coaching qualification or ITF/ATP certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students.
• Patient, professional and enthusiastic approach to coaching and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective tennis coaching sessions to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Design and implement structured training programmes tailored to individual development and goals.
• Provide technical instruction on serving, forehand, backhand, volleys and footwork.
• Assess player progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive training environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents, ensuring excellent service.
• Prepare training materials and maintain records of development and attendance.
• Support organization of events, tournaments or internal competitions.
