Job summary

Hong Kong Metropolitan University invites applications for a Part-time Technical Assistant (NHS) to support a residential care home renovation and facilities enhancement project. The role involves literature reviews, participant recruitment, intervention assistance, and data analysis, under the Principal Investigator’s guidance.

The appointee will typically work fewer than 68 hours over four consecutive weeks, with a temporary contract up to 24 months subject to funding.

Qualifications

• At least 5 subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE (or equivalent), including English, Chinese and Mathematics; or a recognized diploma.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SPSS will be an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese; able to coordinate research projects.
• Good team player and able to coordinate research projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in literature reviews related to the research topic.
• Recruit research participants for the study.
• Assist in conducting the research intervention.
• Perform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis.
• Provide research-related assistance to the Principal Investigator.
